With a passion for public service and student advocacy, Ashley Duprat is a skilled academic support professional who believes that addressing issues of social justice, equity, inclusion and diversity should always be one of the university’s top priorities. Ashley is currently an Academic Advisor in the CECS Academic Affairs Office. In this role, Duprat manages programs designed to provide students with academic success strategies and to support the college’s retention initiatives. After spending over 9 years working in the state university system, Duprat knows representation is imperative to building self-efficacy for students and is critical to academic success. It is important for students to receive encouragement from people who look like them and may share in their experiences. During her time at UCF, she obtained certificates in Diversity and Integrative Mental Health. Ashley earned both a master’s degree in Public Administration and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science from Florida A&M University.
